Spoon Eating

We decided to try spoon eating this week. The first day Ian just made funny faces and didn't know what to think. The second day he ate like a pro! You would think this kid has been eating for months. He opens his mouth and waits for it (although not that patiently!). It was so much fun.

Ian had some good quality time with his cousins Gipson and Hayden last week.
Fuimos a ver los primos Gipson y Hayden la semana pasada. Ian disfruto muchisimo.

Cooks Fun Club

We're in a "Cooks Fun Club" but all we did this night was eat...and eat...and eat...The best tapas I've ever had. Poor Ian, didn't get to go. This was our first night to leave him with a real baby sitter. It went well, was harder on me than him.

El menú fue tapas españolas (las mejores que hemos comido) .A Ian no lo llevamos :( Fue la primera vez que lo dejemos con una “babysitter”. Fue mas difícil para nosotros que para el:)

Baby Finally Sleeping

Well, our really good sleeper has decided to show us how lucky we were for a while. Ian started sleeping through the night before he was two months old, but that abruptly ended about two weeks ago. He just stopped, which actually isn't that uncommon for this age. I feel like a zombie and so does Marcelo.

Today the lady who cleans my house was here and she decided to help me with a little good ol' Hispanic crazy stuff. She passed an egg all over his body while saying "Our Fathers" and then cracked the egg into a glass of water and told me to leave it under his bed until tomorrow morning. CRAZY..... But he's been asleep since then. We'll see if he sleeps tonight.

Bueno, nuestro bebe que duerme tan bien ah decidido demostrarnos lo afortunado que somos al tener un bebe que duerme tan bien, y últimamente no esta durmiendo tan bien. Ian empezó a dormir toda la noche desde que tenía dos meses, pero eso se termino hace un par de semanas atrás. Simplemente dejo dormir toda la noche y ahora se despierta más o menos una vez entre las 2 y las 4 de la mañana. Las papas, por supuesto, andan como “zombies”.

Hoy le contamos a Gloria, la señora que nos limpia la casa, y por supuesto el diagnostico fue muy simple: Esta Ojeado. Lindsay no cree en esas cosa, pero si cree en dormir; así que esta dispuesta a probar cualquier brujería con tal que volamos a esa hermosas noches de 8 horitas de sueño. Después de unas brujerías que involucraron algunos “Padre Nuestros” y un “Huevo” el gordo durmió bastante bien anoche. Vamos a ver, si esto funciona, Lindsay se va a convertir en “creyente”. Y después del ojeo vamos a trabajar en hacerla creer lo del “empacho”.
